happy valentine’s day, tumblrland!
this may not be everyone’s favorite holiday, but i personally love the decorations! :) so although i am participating in an all-girls anti-valentine’s day celebration of shopping and mani/pedis.. i want to say one thing:
i wish for you today at some point a feeling of heart-wrenching, jaw-dropping, head-over-heels surrender to love- whether this is to the perfect vanilla soy latte, an incredible book you found and couldn’t put down, a perfect song that matches your mood and makes you smile, a ridiculously great best friend, the sunset, or of course.. that perfect person who can release the hordes of butterflies laying dormant in your stomach.
know that there is love in more than a few things in your life. perfection comes in many shapes, forms and sizes. i’m going to take a moment to appreciate my black book of drawings and acrylic paints today because of love love love! :) ♥
